John Romero, the creator of the legendary FPS DOOM, will headline the event. In his keynote, "DOOM: The Game That Changed Games," he will share the story behind the game, showcasing rare footage and behind-the-scenes stories. Apart from this, there will be a Meet & Greet with the developer, where he'll be signing copies of his new autobiography DOOM Guy.

Also, other prominent industry professionals will take the floor:

  • Terrance Cohen, Senior Engine Programmer, Insomniac Games
  • Adam Boyes, Co-CEO, Iron Galaxy
  • Guido Schmidt, Director of Design, Rovio
  • Mikhail Greuli, Associate Art Director, Massive Entertainment - A Ubisoft Studio

The conference will feature panel discussions with local games business specialists and representatives of gamescom LATAM and workshops on character crafting, market strategies, tips for freelance work in the gaming industry, and more, along with Speed Networking, where attendees will have an opportunity to introduce themselves to as many people as possible.

DevGAMM 2024 will be held in Cascais and The Oitavos Luxury Hotel, Lisbon, Portugal, on November 14-15.
