Devil May Cry 5 Sales Have Surpassed 6 Million Copies

That's 300,000 copies more since the last sales update.

Capcom has revealed that the global sales of its 2019's action-adventure game Devil May Cry 5 have surpassed six million copies.

The company shared the news on the Devil May Cry official Twitter account attaching a new artwork of the game’s cast and thanking all its "SSStylish" fans for their support.

The previous sales update took place in June 2022 when the company shared on its Platinum Titles page that the total sales for the game across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC the game reached 5.7 million units.

Devil May Cry 5 was released in 2019 and had a pretty good reception at the time of its launch. Currently, the game has a whopping 95% positive reviews based on nearly 55,000 ratings on Steam, and what's interesting, the recent reviews are even more impressive – 97% of reviews made in the last 30 days are positive.

The title is also the best-selling Devil May Cry game to date. In comparison, the previous part of the game sold only 3 million copies.

Devil May Cry 5 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Luna, and PC via Steam.  The enhanced Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is also available for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
