The legendary Devil May Cry games series turned 20 today. The first entry in the series was released on 23rd August 2001 for PlayStation 2.
The game was directed by legendary developer Hideki Kamiya who told the story of Dante, a demon hunter with white hair, huge swords, and two fan-favorite handguns, Ebony & Ivory.
The game series has launched several titles since then, including a reimagined version by Ninja Theory with different Dante in 2013. The latest part is Devil May Cry 5 which was launched in 2019.
What is your favorite game in the series? Personally, I beat the third part countless times and now I'm planning to get a copy on Nintendo Switch to celebrate the anniversary.
