Player jtisallbusiness is thinking about getting a refund.
Diablo Immortal's microtransactions have been an issue with many players since day one of the game's release in June, with people saying you need to spend over $100,000 to max out your character. Content creator jtisallbusiness is one of such 'whales', and his experience is not as smooth as you might think.
The streamer says he's spent about $100,000 on the game and leveled up so high that he can't get a battleground now to progress further. Now, jtisallbusiness is thinking about getting a refund and hiring a lawyer to find the solution as he can't do what he's supposed to for the quest and because the streamer uses the game to earn some money back.
"I can't do things that I spent money on this character to do, and I have no time frame of when things are going to actually be fixed, or even know if things are going to be fixed because I am the only player in the entire world with this problem," jtisallbusiness said.
The creator has reached out to Blizzard, which replied that it was now "aware of the issue," but no fix was proposed.
jtisallbusiness's problems don't get any sympathy from most players though. Many blame the creator for indulging Diablo Immortal's transaction policy, saying he "got what he deserved."
Even though Blizzard boss Mike Ybarra tried to defend the game arguing that most players do not spend any money on it, Diablo Immortal's Metacritic user score reached a shocking low soon after it came out.
