Diablo Immortal Reportedly Generated $525M in a Year
The game from Activision Blizzard and NetEase shows incredible results.
Diablo Immortal, co-developed by Activision Blizzard and NetEase, reportedly generated more than $500 million dollars. Data.ai states that the game managed to sneak into the elite group of mobile games to cross the $500 million mark within its first year of release. What is more, the game is said to reach almost 22 million downloads.
The report, saying the game is now the 24th largest mobile game globally in terms of worldwide revenue since launching, also notes China has been a significant contributor to Diablo Immortal’s success (around 37% of its lifetime spend). The US player accounts for 24% of the total player base.
Do you expect the game to reach a $1 billion milestone in the next year? The recent release of Diablo IV and the overall popularity of the franchise right now will certainly help the mobile project climb another mountain.
