Blizzard's Diablo 4 reappeared during the Xbox/Bethesda showcase. The studio announced the return of the Necromancer as the game's fifth and final class, plus shared the game has a 2023 release date.
The team also shared a new look Diablo 4 gameplay in action on Xbox Series X with comments from Blizzard talents discussing what's new and different in Diablo 4. For example, the game is getting character customization allowing players to tweak skin tone, hairstyles, and more.
The game will also introduce Strongholds, "enemy territories that you need to reclaim." These can be transformed into friendly towns and are said to have a "real effect" on the game world.
