The studio's open positions state candidates should enjoy sci-fi and space.
Disco Elysium creator ZA/UM seems to be working on a sci-fi game taking place in space, according to the studio's open positions. The company is looking for environment concept artists that "can create and visualize new worlds and have a love for sci-fi and space." The artists will be designing environments, buildings, and interiors in a sci-fi environment and creating extraterrestrial environments and structures.
The position of a lead environment artist also mentions the love of sci-fi as a bonus. Last year, the studio was seeking writers for an RPG.
So far, it's not clear if this new project will be connected to Disco Elysium or if it will be something completely new. Check out ZA/UM's website to stay tuned and apply for one of the jobs if you have the necessary skills and experience.
