Flying Wild Hog and Snapshot Games, the developers behind Shadow Warrior 3 and Phoenix Point, have recently joined Embracer Group. The company continues to expand its gaming studios worldwide by acquiring 12 new development studios.
The giant supports six major publishers, each owning a number of studios and development teams. 58 studios are said to be working as a part of the Embracer Group company.
Among other deals, the company acquired the Shadow Warriors 3 development team, Flying Wild Hog. The studio is now developing the third game in the Shadow Warrior series. The game will be published by Digital Devolver in 2021.
Embracer Group also owns Mad Head Games, Coffee Stain North, Silent Games, Zen Studios, Thinking Ape Entertainment, Nimble Giant Entertainment, IUGO Mobile Entertainment, 34BigThing, Quantic Lab, and other studios.
