Enjoy Beautiful Colors of Terminator 2 Judgment Day with This 35mm Scan

True cinema lovers enjoy not only the experience of going to the theater but also the special visuals of the movies, especially old ones. Thankfully, there are some amazing people who spend tons of time and money on scanning films to present them in a new digital light – quite literally.

If you like Terminator 2: Judgment Day, take a look at the bright colors of these 35mm scans. There are several versions posted by Jon W., a collector of rare movies, from 1080p to 4K. 

As Jon mentioned in one of the comments, these scans aren't necessarily better than other versions you can find, but they have a certain film quality that many viewers appreciate. The restored scans make the colors pop, but all this work requires sizeable investments. One of the masters shared that it costs from $700 to $1100 to restore one title.
