It's obvious that developers are not happy when their game trailers leak early, but it's even worse when your studio doesn't share much new content and waits for the special moment to do so, like Rockstar Games. The company was planning to debut the first trailer for GTA 6 on December 5 at 9 am ET, and the anticipation was so high that thousands of people were already in the livestream chat 24 hours in advance. However, the trailer was leaked on Twitter yesterday, so Rockstar had to act fast and release the official trailer early on YouTube to prevent circulation of the leaked version. Some Rockstar employees are frustrated by the situation, and it's understandable.

Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming thinks that the leak situation is Rockstar's own fault.

However, overall, the leak did not diminish the excitement surrounding the trailer for users. Fans are looking forward Rockstar to once again raising the bar for quality and delivering an exceptional experience.

"I'm extremely impressed with the whole game. Initial expectations were high, but not like this. The trailer represents a new era of gaming we haven't seen in the industry. This is going to be a very big, big game and very likely come above on par with RDR2 in every way. I'm hoping for the best Rockstar can crack down on this issue, but it's difficult when it's the largest franchise on this planet. Hopefully we never see a situation like this again," shared Ben, a Twitter user who's been delivering news about Rockstar.

Also, earlier today we reported that in November, Take-Two Interactive shared its financial results, stating that the GTA series reached a milestone of selling over 410 million copies.

That voice actor did an amazing job on the game. Props to him for standing up for the game and not backing down.
