3D Artist and Unreal Engine enthusiast Amit Mehar, known for showing a multitude of experiments in UE's VFX system Niagara, unveiled the results of a recently-conducted experiment. This time, the developer tried to put a modified version of an existing snow setup, created by Amit back in May by implementing SideFX Labs' Snow Buildup node to Niagara, into a dynamic system. For this project, the creator wrote a simple Niagara to StaticMesh baker and used Global Distance Fields instead of raytracing, which was used for the original setup. The result, as the author put it, "looks more like slime than snow".
