Fallout: London is Finally Here, Allowing You to Explore a Post-Apocalyptic Version of the UK Capital

Available for free on GOG and compatible with the Steam version of Fallout 4.

The FOLON team has finally released Fallout: London, a highly anticipated DLC-sized mod for Bethesda's Fallout 4, initially set to launch back in April but later postponed due to compatibility issues caused by Fallout 4's next-gen update.

In development since 2019, the new mod allows players to explore the previously unseen world of a post-apocalyptic version of the UK capital. Fallout: London is non-commercial and was created by a team of Fallout fans, many of whom are Londoners themselves, which allowed them to convey the atmosphere and recreate the landmarks of London in such great detail.

The mod's gameplay starts in 2237, between the events of the first and the second games and 50 years prior to Fallout 4's main story taking place. Unlike the previous games in the series, the new mod is set outside the United States, presenting a novel environment, new post-war cultures and original factions, and the exploration of the influence of the Resource Wars on Britain.

The mod is a DLC-sized expansion for Bethesda's Fallout 4, requiring the base game and all of the DLC to be installed. The expansion can be downloaded on GOG for free and is compatible with the Steam version of Fallout 4, with the team noting that they currently don't plan on releasing the mod for consoles.
