My favorite part of the Tomb Raider series was not included in the recent remaster bunch. While I believe most fans consider the first three games the pinnacle of the franchise, my childhood memories treasure The Last Revelation most.
I am not the only one to fondly remember the game as 3D artist LorenzoCGI presented a stunning teaser for the game starring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft and Christoph Walz as Werner Von Croy.
The trailer was made in Unreal Engine 5.3, with textures taken from TexturingXYZ and hair from 3D Scan Store. Lorenzo tried to replicate the environment of the game using assets from Megascans. "The creator of that level used as reference the scene from Quentin Tarantino's film Reservoir Dogs."
For the animation, the creator used a combination of motion capture, MetaHuman Animator, Metapipe, and Reallusion's iClone.
It seems to me that Lorenzo has a soft spot for ancient Egypt, so you can find other pieces of the culture along with different projects on his ArtStation page.
