Thomas Kole created a new unofficial Half-Life game. Sadly, it’s not Half-Life 3. It’s Half-Line Miami. This project is a mash-up of Hotline Miami and Half-Life 2.

Thomas Kole developed the game by himself using a custom engine. Half-Line Miami allows to return to the world of Half-Life 2 in a top-down perspective. Gordon Freeman returns to action once again but instead of the vast arsenal of Hotline Miami, he will have to rely on the signature gravity gun. It allows you to pick up items and throw them at the enemies. Additionally, a fast combo-based scoring system will also be present.

In a new message on Half-Line Miami’s IndieDB Kole said that he is done with the gameplay side of the shooter and created four maps for it. They are based on the areas in Half-Life 2. He also promised a level editor gamers will be able to use to create their own content.

Half-Line Miami is a PC-only game that will be available for free the day it hits the market. As of now the game has no solid release date.
