Display your sketches in real space, or draw 3D lines throughout your room.
Thanks to viral videos from artists demonstrating its capabilities, Feather 3D, a mobile 3D sketching app that officially launched last autumn, has been gaining increased attention in recent months. In case you missed it, Feather 3D is a powerful software that brings familiar tools into 3D, allowing users to freely navigate 3D space, draw from any angle on a spatial canvas, and export files in standard 3D formats.
Sketchsoft, the developers behind Feather 3D, are continuously working to improve the app. In March, they released the major version 1.1 update, which brought a more streamlined workflow for Apple Pencil, a new Squeeze Menu for quick access to common actions, updated hover behaviors, and haptic feedback.
Now, you can step into early summer with the new AR Viewer in Feather 3D 1.2, which lets you view 3D sketches in augmented reality. This update also addresses several usability bugs, including one that caused drawings to disappear during group merges.
