The new version of FormCutter, a boolean-based tool for 3ds Max that is used to cut inward or outward in objects along a freehand path that you draw with the tool, has been released. The latest update features a few useful tools to help you improve your designs.
FormCutter v2.5 has a minimalistic interface with a bunch of new icons and automatic layout controls in rows and columns when the user resizes the UI. There are several actions you can use when cutting your shapes including cut, split, add, carve, extract, and draw. You can draw cut shapes on the surface of the mesh or in the screen view.
There are also some interactive tools available in the latest version, and those include collapse, symmetry, chamfer, shell, pivot, and variable round. You can also use clone drawing for your shapes by grid or radial layout.
The price for the node-locked license starts at $50. You can find more details on Gumroad's website. Don't forget to join our new Telegram channel, our Discord, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
