Ephere has announced that Ornatrix, its powerful and widely used hair and fur grooming suite for major DCC applications, is now available free of charge to all qualified educational institutions and students worldwide.
Schools can request licenses by applying with an official school email address, preferably one ending in .edu, and an institutional account must be created on Ephere's website using the school's email domain to manage the licenses. Students can obtain individual licenses through their educational institution, with the school submitting the request on their behalf.
Educational licenses are valid for one year from the date of issuance and may be renewed annually by following the same application process. These licenses are provided strictly for non-commercial, educational use only.
Ephere previously offered a 50% discount on educational licenses. With the new policy, all current educational license holders will continue to get free access to Ornatrix, and those who obtained a license with the 50% discount are eligible to continue using Ornatrix for commercial purposes.
