Another proof that hard work and determination yield great results.
Here's a short motivational story that proves yet again that any endeavor becomes achievable through hard work and intense dedication. It turns out that Colleen Peck Larson, a renowned 3D Character Artist and Senior Character Artist at PlayStation Studios, has been a fan of The Last of Us franchise since the game was first released all the way back in 2013.
According to Colleen's recently-released tweet, in 2013, the artist was still a student studying to become a Concept Artist and Illustrator. The post demonstrates a beautiful Ellie fanart drawn by the artist nearly a decade ago, the first sign of the things yet to come.
Through years of training and refining the artistic skills, the creator eventually landed a job at Sony and officially became one of the people responsible for the recent The Last of Us remake, developed by Naughty Dog. According to the artist's ArtStation page, Colleen was responsible for creating Ellie's outfits, Joel's Fall costume, and several of the game's NPCs.
