In 1996, Gabe Newell founded Valve Software, the company that shipped one of the most legendary game titles including Half-Life 1 and 2, Portal 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Dota 2, and launched the biggest digital store called Steam.
Newell has recently joined Ryan McCaffrey for an interview in his 17th-floor Kirkland, Washington office. The half-hour talk discusses the studio's past with Half-Life, the Newell's favorite Half-Life game, Valve's mistakes, the state of Half-Life, and more.
Are you excited about the upcoming Alyx release? Discuss the game and interview in the comments.
