Gametrailers shuts down

Gametrailers was always among the first to share the news with gamers around the world. After 13 years it was announced that the site is shutting down. Some fans could definitely blame YouTube and streaming sites, but the fact is, gamers will not be able to enjoy Gametrailer’s content anymore.

Yesterday Gametrailers announced its closing through Twitter.

Previously Gametrailers went though relaunch in 2012 and was acquired by Defy Media in June 2014. Later the company suffered dramatic layoffs. Let us know what you think about Gametrailers’s closing in the comments below.
