Bonnie Jean Mah recently shared on Twitter that she has joined Santa Monica Studio as a Narrative Director. Before this new role, Mah worked at The Coalition in Vancouver, where she served as a Narrative Designer for Gears of War 4 and Gears of War 5. She then became the Narrative Director for the entire Gears of War series. She also took part in the development of Age of Empires 4 as a Narrative Designer and wrote the script for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

"ALL RIGHT, let's do this...I'm SO excited to share my news: I've joined Sony Santa Monica as a Narrative Director. I'm beyond thrilled to be working with this team and studio. LET'S GOOOOO," Mah shared her thoughts on Twitter.

As for now, it's unclear what projects Mah will be part of at the new studio, but it's reasonable to assume that her position will give her significant influence in shaping the game's story. Hopefully, we will receive more details about the team's upcoming game in the near future.

Speaking of God of War, at the beginning of November, we reported that Cliff Bleszinski, the Co-creator of the Gear of War franchise, shared that he'd like to help in creating a reboot of the series in the style of God of War, openly inviting Xbox to reach out to him if they shared his interest in pursuing this endeavor: "I've always said, Phil Spencer has my number."
