Get Career Guidance from Sierra Division's Creative Director

Jacob Norris will tell you how to create a strong 3D portfolio.

So you learned 3D and made some cool projects. Now what? How does one get a job in this industry? Sierra Division's Co-Founder and Creative Director Jacob Norris has the answer in its career guidance art mentorship.

The mentorship is meant for students, recent graduates, and self-taught artists who want a chance in the industry. In a 2-hour private session and a 30-minute follow-up, Norris will help you refine your portfolio and give advice based on your career goals.

Aside from the sessions, you will get access to the Miro board, notes, and Sierra Division Mentorship Discord channels.

"Our mentorships are tailored to your needs and there is no set curriculum. Prior to the start of the mentorship, you will be asked to complete a form inviting you to share your needs and goals. Your mentor will create a plan based on the information you have provided," Sierra Division says.

You will be in capable hands during the mentorship. Norris has been in the industry for over 15 years, working for such big developers as Insomniac Games, Konami, and Naughty Dog, developing Metal Gear Solid V, Resistance 3, Uncharted 4, and NVIDIA's RTX Demos.

You can find his 3D works on ArtStation:
