Amidst all the recent controversies surrounding Helldivers 2, we're talking about Sony's announcement of a mandatory requirement to link a PSN account to play the game on PC and limitations in regions where such accounts are not accessible, Sucker Punch clarified that players would not need a PSN account to enjoy their upcoming game, Ghost of Tsushima.

"Just so you are aware, a PSN account is required for Legends online multiplayer mode and to use PlayStation overlay. It is not required to play the single-player game," stated the studio.

A PSN account and its linking to Steam will only be necessary for the Legends multiplayer mode and overlay features in Ghost of Tsushima.

Speaking of the game, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut will finally launch on PC on May 16, 2024.
