10 years ago Rockstar shared gameplay footage of a game that forever changed the gaming landscape. GTA V quickly became a record-breaking project and the game that is still holding top positions in game stores.
The gameplay video showed the dense open world of Grand Theft Auto 5 and its contract Los Santos areas: mountains, streets, and green fields.
For the first time, Rockstar has also decided to add three playable characters to the franchise, each with distinctive gameplay mechanics.
The game was soon released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Then, it landed on PC and next-gen consoles, introducing new updates and even the first-person mode.
The gameplay trailer generated 39 million views making it the second most successful video on the Rockstar channel after the GTA V reveal trailer (which has 88 million views to date).
