Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator has launched a new podcast called "Hideo Kojima's Radioverse" dedicated to the gaming industry and cinema featuring discussions "you can’t hear anywhere else". The episodes are currently available only in Japanese.
Hideo Kojima, renowned game creator, famous for his Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, has launched a new podcast on Amazon’s Audible service. The new show is titled "Hideo Kojima’s Radioverse" and will be dedicated to the gaming industry as well as cinema and more.
Each episode of Kojima's Radioverse will "feature a variety of guests who will have in-depth discussions on topics like games and movies, which you can’t hear anywhere else". The fans can also send questions, letters, and messages to Kojima and the guests of the show via the form on the official page of the podcast.
The first episode is already available on the platform and features the members of 2BRO – a famous Japanese video game YouTube channel with over 3 million subscribers. The episodes are currently coming out only in Japanese, and it wasn't reported yet if they will ever be translated into English or other languages.
The new podcast was presumably one of the "experimental" new projects teased by Kojima in January on his Twitter account where he shared his plans for 2022. "This year, I'm going to start a new work in earnest, and move to the next level of experimentation with a radical project," he wrote, "I'm also hoping to get the video team going. And I may start doing something like a radio project?"
In December 2021, Kojima also confirmed that two new titles are in development. However, further details haven't been revealed yet. It was also reported that Kojima Productions is working on its first anime.
