Midnight Snack is short but strangely interesting.
You are a microwave. Who are you running from? Why would someone want to find you? Will you cook or be cooked? Midnight Snack might not answer all of these questions, but it will help you spend a part of your evening enjoying (or hating) its controls.
The dials and the constant "ding" may drive you mad eventually, but the idea of moving and looking around using a microwave interface is certainly worth exploring, and the developers Daniel de Linos, Roberto del Saz, Álvaro Lozano, and Jaime Hernández decided to take their first steps.

The idea came from a game jam with the "electrodomestic" theme, according to the creator. While there was no specific reference, Fure mentioned Bennett Foddy's games (Getting Over It being the most popular) "with their awkward controls" as inspiration.
