JangaFX has revealed a new and improved version of EmberGen, the company's real-time volumetric fluid simulation tool that can instantly simulate, render, and export flipbooks, image sequences, and VDB volumes. The small 0.7.5.5 update adds several important features that will make working with EmberGen even more comfortable.
The update brings support for Wacom tablets, EXR Backplates, as well as the option to randomize all seeds in the project settings. The company has also upgraded the tool's online documentation, celebrating the fact with one of the most epic trailers for software documentation in existence. The latest version of EmberGen was released back in November 2021. Back then, the update brought animated mesh imports, camera imports, backplates, holdouts, an entirely new UI, a new renderer, and a bunch of other new features. You can learn more about EmberGen here.
