JangaFX Shows Its Real-Time Fluid Simulation Tool

Check out this new tool in development called LiquiGen.

JangaFX shared the first demo of LiquiGen, its new real-time fluid simulation software. The tool was originally announced in 2020 as a companion for EmberGen, the team's other tool meant for fire and smoke simulations.

"We still have a ways to go to make this a production-ready tool but our R&D is very promising," wrote JangaFX. Little is known about the pricing, system requirements, or launch date, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, you can check out their EmberGen. The software is a real-time volumetric fluid simulation tool that allows users to simulate, render, and export flipbooks, image sequences, and VDB volumes. Using the toolkit you can create a range of effects including fire, smoke, explosions, and more. EmberGen is currently used by over 150 leading game studios.
