Luxion launched KeyShot 10.0, the next version of its rendering and technical animation tool. The update comes with a new Light Manager and Light Gizmos for editing lighting, plus rendering cloth and caustics.
When it comes to KeyShot Pro, there's a new set of environment animation features: support for keyframe adjustments, a new Smart Export system for exporting to 3MF, glTF, and USDZ formats, plus more.
For those of you not familiar with the workflow, the renderer is GPU-accelerated, so you can switch to GPU mode if you have a compatible Nvidia graphics card.
The biggest thing in this update is a new set of lighting features, including the Light Manager which is a dockable panel for editing the visibility, color, power, and size of any physical light in a scene.
The version also introduces new Light Gizmos, a set of viewport manipulators that allow users to control the beam angle and falloff properties of Spot, IES, and Point lights.
