Kickstarter for Stålenhag's New Artbook Launched
Simon Stålenhag is getting ready to share his latest illustrated story.
Simon Stålenhag, the creator of Tales From the Loop and The Electric State, is working on his vision of a dystopian future. The artist's new narrative art book, The Labyrinth, was just launched on Kickstarter.
The book, made in collaboration with Free League Publishing and Skybound Entertainment, will tell a story of a world covered by ruins and ash forcing survivors deep underground. "Matt, Sigrid and Charlie leave the safe harbor of the enclave for an expedition into the wastelands of the surface world. During their journey they are forced to confront dark secrets from the time before civilization’s fall," states the description.
The Labyrinth is described as "a thick, oversized artbook of approximately 150 pages with print, paper, and binding of the highest quality." The Kickstarter campaign features two versions of the book - the Standard Edition and the Limited Edition. The Limited Edition will include an exclusive cloth cover that will never be printed again.
