Learn How to Create Kaneda's Jacket from Akira with This Tutorial

The learning path covers the entire workflow, using Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, Maya, Marmoset Toolbag, and Substance 3D.

If you want to learn more about creating garments in 3D and sculpting folds and subtle clothes' elements, take a look at this tutorial by 3D Artist Vadim Meshcherekov, covering the creation of Kaneda's Jacket, a signature element from the legendary cyberpunk anime Akira.

The tutorial includes more than 13 hours of video content and covers the workflow, including modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, baking, texturing, and rendering the 3D model. The project features quad topology and 4K textures.

In the workflow, you will use Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, Maya, Marmoset Toolbag, Substance 3D Painter, and Substance 3D Sampler.
