If you're disappointed about the delay of Dune: Part Two, Lego has a solution to satisfy your cravings. The latest set from Lego, the Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter, is now up for pre-order. This magnificent replica of the Imperium's beloved flying machine consists of 1,369 pieces and can be purchased for $164.99. The release date for this exciting set is set for February 1st, 2024.

Although both the Dune (2021) movie and the upcoming Dune: Part Two have PG-13 ratings, the Lego set is a sophisticated model exclusively designed for adult enthusiasts. When put together, it showcases fold-out wings that can flap, landing gear that can be deployed, and a cockpit that opens, allowing you to place one of the eight mini figurines included in the set, representing the beloved characters from the franchise.

The Atreides Royal Ornithopter set includes a total of seven characters, featuring Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin), Chani (Zendaya), Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac), Liet-Kynes (Sharon Duncan-Brewster), and Duncan Idaho (Jason Momoa). All of these characters can easily fit inside the model without any issues.

However, there's an intriguing addition to the set in the form of the eighth mini figurine, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård). True to his movie portrayal, the Baron is depicted wearing an absurdly long robe, which makes him approximately four times taller than the other figurines. This unique and accurate representation of the Baron's proportions can evoke both joy and discomfort, resulting in a Lego set that faithfully captures Frank Herbert's vision
