Life is Strange Dev Reveals The Release Date Of Their Next Game 'Banishers'
The studio's next project will tell a tale about ghost hunters.
Don't Nod, the creator of the Life is Strange game series, and publisher Focus Entertainment has shared a new trailer and revealed the release date of their action RPG which is set for November 7, 2023. The teams have also announced they're launching pre-orders.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be set in New Eden, 1695, focusing on the story of Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith. The game's heroes are lovers and Banishers, ghost hunters who need to protect the living from ghosts and specters.
"Following a disastrous last mission, Antea is fatally wounded, becoming one of the spirits she loathes. In the haunted wilds of North America, the couple desperately searches for a way to liberate Antea from her new plight," reads the description.
Among other gameplay mechanics, the project will have a decision system that will impact the fate of the residents of New Eden and the main characters.
