The game has been released to Very Positive reviews on Steam.
Following months of anticipation, indie studio Anegar Games has finally shipped Chained Together, a fun Unreal Engine-powered 3D co-op platformer where you and up to 3 of your friends must escape the depths of hell through a series of parkour-themed obstacles, with the caveat being that the entire group will be tethered to one another, requiring a strategic approach to each hurdle.

"Each jump requires perfect coordination to scale the platforms and escape the scorching heat," the team says. "Whether you're going it alone or teaming up with friends locally, the game adapts to fit the number of players, supporting local multiplayer for up to 4 players. The chain is not just a visual element, it is governed by a physics simulation that allows it to wrap around platforms."

The game features several difficulty modes: Beginner, where the pause menu allows you to teleport back to the highest point you reached before a significant fall, Normal, where if you fall, you must start all over again, and Lava, where just climbing higher and higher is not enough – you must also move quickly to avoid being engulfed in lava.
