Mass Effect's opening sequence might look familiar to you, and there is a reason behind it: the text and its structure look very similar to Top Gun's beginning. After all these years, the game's director Casey Hudson is now really happy someone has found this Easter egg.
Replying to a Twitter user Snizabelle's post where they put the two openings side by side, Hudson said: "Finally someone noticed this! I’ve been waiting so long..."
If you're a hardcore Mass Effect fan, you might have known about it for a long time, but it looks like Hudson sees a player discovering this "secret" for the first time, and his reaction is priceless.
Not only did this post confirm the similarities are intentional, but it also revealed this little detail to those unaware of it and maybe even encouraged some players to find more Easter eggs in the game.
