Mathew Hein Joins AMD as Chief Strategy Officer & SVP

He will be responsible for the company's strategic development searching for "high-performance and adaptive computing solutions."

AMD has announced that Mathew Hein will be joining the company taking on the role of chief strategy officer and senior vice president of corporate development. He will take office starting next Monday, June 27.

At the company, Hein will be responsible for AMD's strategic development in the computing market searching for "high-performance and adaptive computing solutions" and will work closely with the company's management. He will report to AMD Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su.

Hine has significant experience in the areas of strategic planning and business development, banking investments in the technology industry, and raising capital for existing and new companies in the semiconductor, high-performance computing, and other technology markets.

Prior to AMD, Hein was a partner at DBO Partners, where he advised AMD during the takeovers of Xilinx and Pensando. His experience also includes working for such companies as Morgan Stanley, Qolsys, SGI, and Ethertronics where he served in various senior positions. He was also named a Top Investment Banker in North America for 2020 by MergerLinks.
