Michiro Ito Brings One More Moomin Illustration to 3D With Blender

The series continues with an artwork featuring Little My.

3D Artist and Illustrator Michiro Ito continues his remarkable series of 3D renders inspired by Tove Jansson's Moomins books with yet another impressive creation that can easily be mistaken for one of Jansson's original 2D illustrations at first glance.

The new artwork focuses on Little My, a bold, mischievous, and very small character, first introduced in the fourth book, The Exploits of Moominpappa, depicted sitting atop the closet in Michiro's hatching-style piece. As before, the creator utilized Blender, a free and open-source 3D software for modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and VFX, to set up the render.
