As we reported earlier, the Microsoft leak that took place recently has brought even more information than we might expect. Firstly, the planned addition of PC games to Xbox Cloud Gaming. Secondly, information on the next-generation Xbox console, which might be "an arm-powered hybrid game console". Thirdly, today we covered the news about Microsoft's own responsibility in disclosing confidential information. And here it is another piece of news on Miscosoft's Xbox Series X.

It seems that one of Microsoft's planned releases was an updated all-digital Xbox Series X console, which was set to be out in November 2024.

The design of the updated Xbox Series X showcases a more cylindrical shape compared to its predecessor and might be released without a disc drive. Internal confidential documents from Microsoft disclose that the console will boast an increased storage capacity of 2TB (compared to the current 1TB), a front USB-C port with power delivery, and an exciting "all-new, more immersive controller".

According to the information from FTC vs. Microsoft documents, it appears that the company is in the process of developing three new consoles. The first one, codenamed Ellewood, is a minor update to the Xbox Series S and is expected to be released around September 2024. Another one is "Brooklin", which is a newly designed disc-less version of the Xbox Series X, with a tentative release date set for November 2024. One more model, named XDL, is anticipated to have the same specifications as Brooklin but will likely allow for Xbox Design Lab customization.

The unveiled Microsoft "Sebile" controller showcases a two-tone design and offers a range of enhanced features such as a built-in accelerometer and haptic capabilities. Additionally, the controller boasts new modular thumbsticks, quieter buttons, and thumbsticks, and introduces new app features.

Sustainability improvements include a swappable battery, the incorporation of recycled materials, and enhanced reparability. If it gets its release, we can expect games to introduce gyro support, enabling players to control movements by simply manipulating the controller.
