Microsoft's Windows 12 Rumored to be Released in Fall 2024

The upgraded operating system is said to feature a floating taskbar and "deeply integrated AI features".

According to a recent report, it is suggested that Microsoft is in the works of preparing for the release of Windows 12, an enhanced edition of their renowned operating system. The launch is said to be scheduled for Fall 2024, followed by a broader distribution planned for 2025.

As reported by Windows Latest, Microsoft is internally testing various design concepts for the new operating system. One of the ideas being explored is a "floating" taskbar, which features rounded edges and is separate from the screen's sides. The report, citing anonymous sources familiar with the development, also mentions that Windows 12 will be specifically optimized for ARM processors and will include "deeply integrated AI features".
