Thomas Geijtenbeek showcased a new simulation made with SCONE and Hyfydy.
As demonstrated by Thomas Geijtenbeek, the creator of the Hyfydy simulation engine and SCONE, free and open-source software for predictive simulation of human and animal motion, you can now interact with musculoskeletal models in real-time using his tools.
Check out some other incredible demos and WIPs showcased by the developer below. No skeletons were harmed in the process:
Hyfydy is a high-performance biomechanical simulation software designed to offer the accuracy of OpenSim with the simulation speed of MuJoCo. It delivers approximately 100x faster performance than OpenSim while using the same muscle and contact models, and it features a low memory footprint, ideal for large-scale optimizations. With SCONE, you can optimize musculoskeletal models to achieve specific tasks based on high-level objectives, such as walking speed and energy efficiency.
