Bethesda quietly ships another Fallout Shelter-style mobile game.
You won't expect it but a new Elder Scrolls game just shipped. The thing is that it's Fallout Shelter-style mobile game. Listed as early access on the Google Play page, the title is currently free to download and play on Android devices.

The project page describes the game as a new product from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning developer behind Skyrim and Fallout Shelter. The Elder Scrolls: Castles will let you control your very own castle and dynasty. Players will oversee their "subjects as the years come and go, families grow, and new rulers take the throne."

Each day in real life accounts for an entire year in The Elder Scrolls: Castles, so in time you will have to "name heirs, and maintain order to help your kingdom flourish." The development team also promises “classic Elder Scrolls foes to collect valuable items and keep your kingdom growing.”

In case you played Fallout Shelter, another Bethesda mobile game, that's pretty much the same experience. The mobile Fallout game was originally released for iOS in 2015 letting players manage a Vault and its Dweller. The game was a success for the company so the team decided to port it for Android same year, then for PC in 2016, and eventually for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
