New Gears of War 4 Screenshots Revealed

The Coalition’s Gears of War 4 marks the return of the beloved franchise. It seems that the next installments will be as bloody and fun as ever. Game Informer talked to the studio behind this title about what awaits us in the upcoming sequel.

Windflares above will become an important part of the updated gameplay: being dangerous they can either kill you or help you. You can send your enemies flying or just stare at them until you are blown away and fried into bacon.

Juvies are said to be one of the Swarm’s more deceptive units. Not hard to handle while alone, they will tear you apart when united into groups.

Handy combat knife will make happy those who got tired of classic Lancer chainsaw. It comes with a pack of bloody finishing moves like the ones main character of Shadow of Mordor had, but with more Swarm’s brains. Image above is not an actual image though, but a render, which is stated to look pretty close to the actual visuals.

Cover combat will be exciting again with new moves like the vault kick, which allows you to slide over a piece of cover and kick an enemy in the face.
