New mods for Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes are now available.
Modder praydog, who has been working on VR mods for Resident Evil for the past few months, has finally released two mods for recent chapters of the series via GitHub.
UploadVR took some time to test them:
The new mods look amazing. First, you can now play both games as first-person titles, plus there's full motion controller support. The VR enthusiast has also implemented weapon collision allowing players to swing a knife or study guns. What is more, the mods let users watch all of the game’s original cutscenes in full 3D.
Please note that you need to own the original games to play the mods. The developer wrote he is also working on mods for Resident Evil 7 and 8 which are currently in an early state. What other games would you like to replay in VR? What is your top pick?
