Now officially integrated in Unreal Engine, getnamo’s independent plugin is available with Unreal Engine 4.11 and features rigged character hands, passthrough, and VR support.
To get the plugin started you just need to download the latest version of Unreal Engine and follow the instruction below.
Quick setup guide:
- Create a new project, or open a project.
- Select Window and Plugins.
- Click on the Input Devices category and find the Leap Motion plugin.
- Select Enabled. The Editor will warn you to restart, so click restart.
- The plugin should be enabled and ready to use.

To try the rigged or floating hands characters, change your game mode to use LeapRiggedCharacter or LeapFloatingHandsCharacter as your default pawn.

- Oculus SDK 0.8.0
Desktop:
