Nexon’s Orange County game studio is closed. Nexon game studio has developed a number of well-known games such as MapleStory and KartRider: Drift. With headquarters based in Tokyo, Japan, the company has studios all over the world. Today, the company has confirmed the shut down of one of its offices in the USA.

“We deeply appreciate the commitment and output of the OC team, however, projects in development there no longer fit with our focus on core creative competencies. All permanent employees impacted by this decision will receive severance and outplacement assistance”.
