Obsidian Could Have Made an Avatar Game

The studio's CEO revealed it was in talks with the movie creators.

Obsidian Entertainment's CEO Feargus Urquhart revealed that several years ago the studio was talking with Avatar 2 creators about making a game in the movie's universe.

In an interview with GamePressure, he said: "Back then, we were talking with them about making an Avatar 2 game... I don’t even know how long ago. Eight, six years, something like that."

It's interesting what that game from Obsidian, the developers behind Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity, and Neverwinter Nights 2, would look like. Maybe we will see one day.

For now, fans of the franchise have Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to look forward to. The upcoming open-world action-adventure game is being developed by Massive Entertainment and will be published by Ubisoft.
