Open Brush 2.10 Introduces Multiplayer Support

Collaborate, chat, and draw with friends, showcase your creations, and let others explore your worlds.

Icosa Foundation has launched Open Brush 2.10, the latest version of the free room-scale VR 3D-painting app originally known as Tilt Brush. This release's standout feature is the introduction of Multiplayer mode, which enables users to collaborate in real-time.

Creators can host their own rooms and share access via room names. For a private space, simply choose a room name that's difficult to guess. The room owner can mute, kick out users, or set them to view-only mode. Currently, the Multiplayer mode supports paint and erase tools, with plans to gradually introduce more tools and features in the future.

Open Brush 2.10 also adds support for the Logitech MX Ink stylus and lets users erase not only brush strokes but also Widgets, such as imported images and 3D models. Experimental brushes can now be toggled on or off without restarting the app.

The update includes numerous other improvements, bug fixes, infrastructure changes under the hood, and updates to underlying dependencies.
