Over 9,000 People Contributed to the Creation of Diablo IV

The number includes 2,464 people working on the game’s sound design and 902 art roles. 

According to a recent report, 9,166 individuals helped create Blizzard's latest bestseller, Diablo IV. A page on MobyGames, a website that compiles different information on games, reveals the total number of people who had different roles during the development of the game.

A lot of people, for example, helped produced audio for the game with 2,464 people working on the game’s sound design and providing voiceovers. 26 people helped capture "Creature Voice Effects".

Among other roles, 902 people presented Art/Graphics related roles, 397 had jobs associated with Quality Assurance, 394 helped with Programming/Engineering tasks, and 193 specialists worked hard on game design. 

As for the experience those people had previously, the list of titles they shipped includes well-known games like Overwatch, WarCraft III, World of WarCraft, StarCraft II, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, and even Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. As for other Diablo news, a banner recently appeared on the website of the Brazilian payment service PicPay, suggesting that Diablo IV is coming to Game Pass. The rumor was addressed by Blizzard's CEO, Mike Ybarra, who said, "This is not happening." Learn more here
