The video shows the storyboards created by Mike Koizumi alongside the final cinematic shots. Mike Kouzimi is a lead storyboard artist at Blizzard Entertainment who worked on the Overwatch short films and video games and such projects as Starcraft and Diablo III. For Overwatch: Zero Hour short, he worked together with cinematic director Benjamin Dai, story artist Haylee Herrick, and concept designer Mio Del Rosario.
The Overwatch: Zero Hour cinematic short was released during BlizzCon 2019 in November last year. The 8-minute long cinematic short shows how Overwatch heroes try to prevent the danger of radical robots. The short also presented new heroes that became a part of Overwatch 2.
