Painting Dynamic Lighting for Tabletop Games with Procreate

Here's a creative way to bring your tabletop experiences to the next level.

Concept Designer and Artist Bryan Versteeg recently demonstrated an absolutely mind-blowing and creative setup that brings the immersivity of tabletop board games to a whole new level. Using Savage Interactive's digital illustration application Procreate in combination with a projector installed above the gaming table, the artist is capable of painting dynamic lighting directly onto the layout, changing the game setting's lighting conditions in real-time. According to the creator, the setup can be used to paint grid overlays, stats, fog of war, AOE simulations, and dramatic lighting.
